Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club is held Monday through to Friday from 8:25am to 8:45am. It is kindly provided for by KickStart for Kids and generous donations from our local community. Did you know KickStart for Kids provides 60,000 breakfasts and 10,000 lunches a week for 330 South Australian schools.

Our Breakfast Club here at Balaklava Primary School is run by parent and school staff volunteers. Depending on what donations are given, depends on what is for offer. We can range from a variety of fruit, hot milo, smoothies, juice, yoghurt, home baked goodness, toast, crumpets, muffins, pancakes, eggs and bbq goods. Part of the enjoyment for the kids is to see what’s on offer.

Breakfast Club is an opportunity for students that have had an early start, a last minute rush out the door or a long trip to school to refuel before class. It is also a great opportunity for children to sit and socialise before the start of the day and make new friends.
